In the fall of 2005, Maxwell Sydney was tasked with designing a “welcoming but playful” newsletter for a mortgage company. The company wanted the newsletter to be content heavy with limited photos, so it was imperative that the newsletter design itself be light but still clearly home-related. The idea was for people to get real content from the newsletter while encouraging them to visit a companion website for more detail, generating goodwill in the community, educating homeowners and strengthening the company’s brand.
Maxwell Sydney created custom vector graphics for the newsletter design, developed the layout for the product, and edited the content. We also had a hand in the development of the companion website, which utilized the same vector graphics from the newsletter.
